I.Who we are, and what this policy covers

This policy covers luxoasisadvisory.com and nothing else. The group's other sites have their own cookie policies, and what is true here is not necessarily true there. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more generally, and the Website Terms of Use.
II.The short version
This site sets no cookies.
It stores nothing on your device. It runs no analytics. It carries no advertising technology. There is nothing here to consent to and nothing here to switch off, so this site shows you no cookie banner.
That is a simpler and stronger position than the alternative, and we would rather state it than describe a consent apparatus we do not need. Two things do still happen that involve third parties, and section 4 sets them out in full.
III.What "no cookies" means here, in detail
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store and hand back on later requests. Related technologies do the same job by other means: local storage, session storage, pixels, fingerprinting scripts, tag managers.
On this site, as at the effective date above:

This is verifiable. The site's source contains no cookie-setting code, no browser storage calls and no analytics or tag manager script. Anyone can confirm it in their browser's developer tools by loading a page and looking at the storage panel, which will be empty of anything this site put there.
Note for readers who have seen an older version of our wording: our earlier privacy policy said this site used "minimal cookies, limited to analytics". That was wrong. No analytics was ever installed and no cookie was ever set. This policy corrects it.
IV.What this site does load from third parties
Nothing above means your browser talks only to us. Rendering a page of this site causes your browser to make two requests directly to third parties, before you have done anything and without our being able to see it happen.
4.1 Google Fonts. fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com This site uses a web font that is fetched from Google's servers on every page load, including on the legal pages. To fetch it, your browser connects to Google and discloses your IP address, the page you are on by way of the referring header, and your browser and device identifiers.
4.2 The PriceLabs RM Partners Directory badge. pricelabs-rmpartners.directoryup.com The partner badge image in the Foundations section is served from the PriceLabs partner directory rather than from this site, which is how that directory's badge is intended to be used. Fetching it discloses the same categories of information to that host.
These are requests, not cookies we set. We do not place anything on your device through either of them and we do not receive anything back from either of them. What each third party does with the request, including whether it sets any storage of its own on its own domain, is governed by that third party's own policies and is outside our control. We name both here because they happen on page load and because a policy that said "no cookies" and stopped there would leave you with an incomplete picture.
Our position on both. Neither is necessary. Self-hosting the font file removes the Google request entirely, and hosting the badge image from this site removes the directory request, subject to written permission from PriceLabs for use of the badge, which is on the Decisions Register. Doing both would leave this site making no third-party requests at all on page load, which is the position we recommend and the one this policy is written to be able to state. Until that work is done, the two requests above are the accurate description.
V.Consent, and what must happen if this ever changes
Because this site sets no non-essential cookies and runs no analytics, no consent is being collected today and no banner is shown.
If that changes, and in particular if any analytics, advertising, embedded media or other non-essential technology is added, the following applies before a single such request is allowed to fire. These requirements are binding on whoever builds it.
- Reject by default. Every non-essential category is off until the visitor turns it on. Nothing is pre-ticked. Nothing is switched on by implication, by scrolling, by continuing to browse, or by closing the banner.
- Reject is as easy as accept. "Reject all" appears on the first layer of the banner, with the same prominence, the same weight and the same number of clicks as "Accept all". No dark patterns, no greyed-out reject button, no burying the refusal behind a settings screen.
- Nothing fires first. No non-essential cookie is written and no non-essential third-party request is made until consent for that category has been given. Consent has to precede the loading, not follow it.
- No cookie wall. Access to this site is never conditioned on accepting non-essential cookies. Refusal must leave the site fully usable.
- Granular by category. Consent is given per category, not as one indivisible block.
- Withdrawal is as easy as consent. A persistent, findable control lets a visitor change or withdraw a choice at any time, and withdrawal takes effect immediately.
- The choice is recorded. For each visitor decision, record the choice per category, the UTC timestamp, and the version identifier of this Cookie Policy that was in force when the choice was made. Without the version identifier the record proves nothing, because it cannot show what was consented to.
- Consent expires. Re-ask no less often than every 12 months, and re-ask immediately whenever a new category or a new third party is added.
- This policy is updated first. A new technology does not go live before this document has been amended to describe it, as a new version, with a new effective date.
Adding analytics on the strength of a policy that merely mentions analytics is not acceptable. The policy has to describe what is actually there, and the mechanism has to exist before the thing it governs does.
VI.Controlling cookies in your browser
There is nothing from this site to control, but you can manage cookies and site data generally in your browser's settings, and you can block third-party requests using your browser's controls or an extension. Blocking the two requests described in section 4 will not stop this site working. The font falls back to a system typeface and the badge falls back to a typographic stand-in that is already built into the page, so nothing breaks and no content is lost.
VII.Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. Each change produces a new version with its own version number, its own effective date and its own permanent URL. Previous versions stay reachable.
This policy is reviewed whenever anything is added to this site that loads from, or sends anything to, a party other than us. That review happens before the change goes live.
VIII.Language
These documents are written in English. English is the governing language. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
